David Cunningham

David Cunningham, 54, of N. Alameda Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at his home. Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 6, 2017, 2:30 PM, at Church Street Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Darrin Milgrim officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. David Cunningham was born February 6, 1962 in Carlsbad, NM to Houston and Leita (Camp) Cunningham. He worked for WIPP many years where he most recently was a hostman. David was an avid arrowhead collector, enjoyed watching football and had a big sense of humor, always making everyone laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Dale Cunningham, Bill Cunningham and Melvin Cunningham. Survivors are his daughter, Kaitlin Lozano of Carlsbad, NM; stepdaughter, Nicole Warren and husband, Russell of Carlsbad, NM; stepson, Shon Eastman of Carlsbad, NM; siblings: Malcolm Cunningham and wife, Norma, Mary Ray, Linda Barreras and husband, Joe, Danny Cunningham; 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
