David Aldas "Boss" Galindo, Sr., 52, of Center Avenue, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Vigil is scheduled for Tuesday, December 4, 2012, 7:00 PM at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, December 5, 2012, 2:00 PM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Valentine Jankowski, OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will follow in Santa Catarina Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Carlsbad Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. David Aldas "Boss" Galindo, Sr. was born September 9, 1960 in Carlsbad, NM to Adan Medrano and Marie de Jesus (Aldas) Galindo. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Boss enjoyed fish and always offering positive advice to friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father; wife, Elisa R. Galindo; two sisters and one brother. He is survived by five sons: Antonio Carrasco and wife, Luisa of Lubbock, TX, David Galindo, Jr., and Ashley Methola of Carlsbad, NM, Joseph Galindo and wife, Monet of Carlsbad, NM, Carlos Galindo and wife, Tiffany of Carlsbad, NM, Eric Galindo of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Marie Aldas Lopez of Carlsbad, NM; 14 grandchildren; 9 brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Daniel Galindo, Alfredo Galindo, Thomas Galindo, Michael Duran, Thomas Methola and Ismael Rodriguez. Condolences may be expressed by dentonwood.com.
