Danny Boots Lambert, 68, of McKinley Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at University Medical Center, Lubbock, Texas.
There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place.
A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, March 8, 2017, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Allison officiating.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Danny Boots Lambert was born December 19, 1948 in Ft. Myers, Florida to W.A. and Beverly Ann (Bishop) Lambert. He served his country in the US Army during Vietnam where he earned Good Conduct Medal and was expert with M14 and M16. Boots married Debra Jean Friermood January 2, 1987. He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for many years. Boots had worked for Roland Trucking in more recent years. His hobbies included flying radio controlled airplanes, shooting firearms, hunting, leather work and bead work. Boots was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Johnny Eugene and Graham Bruce Lambert and an infant sister.
Survivors are his wife, Debra Lambert of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Rebecca Lambert; son, William Allen Lambert; step-son, Ty Glade Catlin; 7 grandchildren; brothers: Michael Eugene Lambert, Glen Edward Lambert, Theodore Patrick Lambert and several nieces and nephews.
