Danny Fry

Danny Fry, 67, of N. Pate Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at his home. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, June 3, 3016, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gabriel Rubio officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Danny Fry was born February 16, 1949 in Haileyville, Oklahoma to Louie Virgle and Ida (Runyon) Fry. He was a longtime resident of Carlsbad, moving from Oklahoma. Danny worked as a truck driver locally and cross country, retiring in 1998. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Every holiday, Danny would prepare special holiday goodies such as his famous yeast rolls and looked forward to building a fire in their fireplace. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Joann and Sandy. Survivors are his wife, Linda Fry of Carlsbad, NM; son, Kevin Fry and daughter, Nicole of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Jennifer Saiz and husband, Sammy of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Andy Fry of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Tanner Fry, Dakota Fry, Jacylynn Navarrette and Evan Saiz.
