Obituary
Daniella Nichole Gutierrez, 31, of Cedar Street, Loving, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at UMC in El Paso, Texas. Daniella was born April 13, 1988 in Carlsbad, NM to Gavino Sr. and Ronda Gutierrez.
She had an infectious smile and beautiful brown eyes that lit up any room. During her school years, Daniella could be found roaming the halls with the assistance of her aide and invading the teachers lounges. She enjoyed attending and supporting her Loving Falcons. Daniella was blessed by so many of her high school classmates, especially a few special ones that took the time during their 10-year class reunion to come to the house and visit her. Thank you, Jacob Cordova, Derek Chavez, Chuck Foster, Alyssa Rodriguez, Marcie Hernandez and Ida Fierro. Daniella was well-known not only by local musicians but also by numerous professional recording artists, as she loved listening and dancing to music, especially Spanish music. Her nieces and nephews were the light of her eyes and she enjoyed every minute she got to spend with them. Daniella was preceded in death by her grandfathers: James Bampa Tippin and Eligio Gutierrez.
Daniella is survived by her parents: Gavino Sr. and Ronda Gutierrez of the family home; sister and brother-in-law, Alicia Gutierrez and LeeRay Florez; brother and sister-in-law, Gavino Gutierrez, Jr. and Jacqueline Rodriguez, all of Loving; grandmother, Linda Tippin of Loving; grandmother, Julia Pina of Mexico; nieces: Brittney Florez, Hayley Florez, Eboney Florez and JazzMariah Carrasco, all of Loving; nephews: Husen McIlwee, Jace Carrasco and Gavino Gutierrez, III, of Loving; great-nephew, Braxton James McIlwee of Loving and her fur babies, Tinkerbell and Sophia.
Visitation will be at 6:00 PM, Friday, December 20, 2019 followed by a vigil at 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Liturgy of the Word service will take place at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at San Jose Catholic Church with Deacon Melvin Balderrama officiating. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be LeeRay Florez, Albert Aragon, Jr., Jose Nieto, Saul Ray Sanchez, Husen McIlwee, Estevan Ornelas, Jacob Cordova and Bobby Parraz. Honorary pallbearers are her nephew, Gavino Gutierrez, III and great-nephew, Braxton James McIlwee, along with her high school Class of 2006.
