Daniel Rodriguez, 57, of West Greene Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away April 12, 2011 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. There will be no public visitation cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19, 2011, 11:00 AM, at New Song Christian Fellowship with Pastor John Burke officiating. Interment will be in Santa Catarina, Carlsbad, NM at a later date. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Daniel Rodriguez was born on November 10, 1953 in Carlsbad, NM to Cesario and Eloisa (Mendias) Rodriguez. Survivors are his daughters, Krista Alvarado; four grandchildren: Maria Lisa Aguilar, Jose Aguilar, Rolando Aguilar and Doanis Bella all of Carlsbad; six siblings: Israel Rodriguez of Abilene, TX, Richard Rodriguez and wife, Edna of Albuquerque, NM, Mary Lou Lopez and husband, Roy of Abilene, TX, Edward Rodriguez and wife, Paula of Carlsbad, NM, Hector Rodriguez and wife, Yolanda of Carlsbad, NM, Dinora Perkins and husband, James of Tucson, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews.
