Dana Lynn Ray Blair, 51, former resident, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her home in Abilene, Texas.
There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2015, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Ryan officiating.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Dana Lynn Ray Blair was born in Hamlin, Texas to James L. and Barbara Sue (Bell) Ray. She attended school in Snyder, Texas and Carlsbad. Dana graduated with a degree in nursing from NMSU-Carlsbad. She married E. J. Brantley in 1981 and two children, Amanda and Tyler were born from that union. She married J. D. Blair in 2007. Dana enjoyed working at Landsun Homes and also her work in home health in El Paso and Bakersfield, CA. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Ray.
Survivors are her husband, J. D. Blair of Abilene, TX; daughter, Amanda Bratcher and husband, James of Carlsbad, NM; son, Tyler Brantley of Abilene, TX; step-children: Robert Blair and wife, Chandra. Sara Allen and husband, Mark, Ashli Montoya and husband, Corey; mother, Barbara Ray of Abilene, TX; brother, Michael Ray and wife, Sandi of Arlington, TX; grandchildren: Kaydn, Kaisen and Taygun Bratcher, Gavin Brantley; stepgrandchildren: Carley Blair, Kameron Allen, Brodie Allen, Teagun Allen, Lalya Allen, Kara Montoya, Lexie Montoya, Jaysen Montoya and nephews: Kyle and Shane Ray.
