Dale Tregoning

Dale Tregoning, 91, of Doepp Drive, Carlsbad, NM, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at his home. Private burial has taken place in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Dale Tregoning was born August 21, 1922 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Erwin James and Lucy Belle (Fusselman) Tregoning. He served in the Navy from 1942 - 1946 during WWII. Dale married Margaret Mickle August, 19, 1947 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He worked for International Harvester retiring in 1978. After retirement, Dale and Margaret enjoyed traveling in their RV. He enjoyed working in the yard and model trains. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret in 2010 and his brother, Paul Tregoning. Survivors are his daughter, Lynn Hunt and husband, Barry of Carlsbad, NM; three grandchildren: Becky Hunt, Katie Fraker, Leah Walls and great-grandchildren: Kaleb Fraker, Allie Fraker, Nathan Walls and Lucas Walls.
