Daisy June Holdiman - Taylor

Daisy June Holdiman Taylor (75) of Carlsbad, NM passed in her home from this life on Earth to her Heavenly Home with Jesus on February 1, 2024.

June Taylor, “Honey” was a compassionate, loving, hospitable, generous Christian example of a godly wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother. She was so fun to be around, making everyone feel welcome. She made an impact on anyone she met. She loved people. She would stay with family members that needed help. She was very patient & would provide a compassionate ear to those that were shut-in. 

On her 25th Anniversary, she got to have the wedding she always wanted. She loved W H Taylor, Sr very deeply as she never remarried after his death. 

She was the best fruit cake & apple pie maker. Family would come throughout the year to get one. She loved her Christmas cactus blooms. 

She is survived in death by a sister, Emma (Spencer) Overturf; twin daughters: Stacy (Steve) Patrick and Tracy (Kenny) Wise; nephew, John Holdiman; stepsons: W.H. (Joann) Taylor, Jr. (aka Zach); Tillman (Carol) Taylor (aka TD); stepdaughter, Della Laman (Jess); son-in-law, Joe Templeton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Taylor, Sr.; sisters: Marie Lynn and Louis Mewborn; brothers: Billy Holdiman and Albert Holdiman; stepchildren: Bill (Wanda) Taylor, Terri (aka Joyce) Templeton, Delbert (Ramona) Taylor, Jack Taylor; niece, Sherri Abbott and nephew, Troy Holdiman.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service

will be Saturday, February 10, 2024

at 1:00 PM

at New Beginnings Church of God

(aka the old Hillcrest Church of God)

Located at 234 N. 6^th St.,

Carlsbad, NM 88220.

Any food, flowers, or donations can be sent or brought to the church at 12:00 noon or contact family to make other arrangements. Denton-Wood Funeral Home will be taking charge of her final request.
