Cullen Bobby Davidson

Cullen Bobby Davidson, 86, of Ortega Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 at his home. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Thursday, August 6, 2015, 9:00 AM, at Carlsbad Cemetery. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Cullen Bobby Davidson was born December 24, 1928 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Beuford and Holly (Matthews) Davidson. He moved to Carlsbad as a young boy with his parents and graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1947. Cullen married Betty Jo Lewis in 1954. He worked in the potash mines over 35 years before retiring. Cullen enjoyed hunting and fishing. "Thanks for all the memories." Survivors are his son, David Davidson of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Dustin Davidson of Carlsbad, NM, Holly Jackson of Carlsbad, NM, Gina Balderama and husband, Taylor of Carlsbad, NM, Janey White of Clovis, NM; great-grandchildren: Aubrey Poschmann and Brinley Balderama.
