Cora Lea Blair

Cora Lea Blair, 29, of N. Clayton Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 27, 2011, 2:00 PM, at Happy Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Tarvin officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Cora Lea Blair was born September 20, 1982 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to James "Jim" Roland and Roberta (Talley) Blair. Cora loved to go to church and participate in church functions. She loved balloons and collected watches. Cora never met a stranger, she loved people. She was preceded in death her mother and grandfather, Clinton Lee Blair. Survivors are her father, Jim Blair of Carlsbad, NM, grandmother and care giver, Wilma Blair of Carlsbad, NM; aunt, Carolyn Blair of Lubbock, TX; uncles: Kenny Blair and wife, Carla of Carlsbad, NM, Bert Blair and wife, Juanita of Webber Falls, OK and numberous cousins. Pallbearers will be Roy Dunseth, Mark Christesson, Bob Henderson, Darren Lane, Jeff Morriss, David Spencer. Honorary pallbearers are all church members at Happy Valley Baptist Church.
