Connie Arreguy League, 82, of Live Oak Place, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 at her home.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 9, 2014 at San Jose Catholic Church, 1002 De Baca.
A Vigil is scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2014, 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2014, 2:00 PM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Agnel Anthony officiating.
Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Connie Arreguy League was born January 8, 1932 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Martin and Micaela (Uribe) Arreguy. She grew up in Carlsbad and in 1951 graduated high school. On October 25, 1953 she married J. D. League in Carlsbad. She worked for American Bank for 15 years until her daughter was born in 1965. In 1970 she went to work for US Potash, then Teledyne and later she worked for IMC. Connie went to work for the City of Carlsbad as an Account Clerk and later worked for the Fire and Ambulance Department, retiring in 1996. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church where she was a member of Catholic Daughters of Americas and did volunteer work with Caring Hands. Connie was also a volunteer with the Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, line dancing, playing bunco and dominoes, arts and crafts and she collected dolls. She was dearly loved by her family and friends. Connie will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Micaela Arreguy, Sr.; brother, Martin Arreguy, Jr.; husband, J. D. League; daughter, Karla Weise; son, John Martin League; grandson, Jonathan Trey Weise and great-granddaughter, Chellsey Riley.
Survivors are her daughter, Debra League of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: David Riley and companion, Jennifer Nickoli of Carlsbad, NM, Amber Huber and companion, Kris Carlson of Carlsbad, NM, Danielle Huber of Carlsbad, NM; great-grandchildren: Taylin Riley, Markeese Stearns, Paxton Huber and Makayla Saiz.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hurles, Martin Arreguy, David Castillo, John Salcido, Tony Hernandez, Danny Huber, Kris Carlson, Albert Castaneda. Honorary pallbearers are great-grandchildren, Corey Saliz and Connor Nickoli.
