Conception "Connie" Juarez

Conception “Connie” Juarez, 84, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Lakeview Christian Home surrounded by her family. Connie was born on May 20, 1938, in Fort Stockton, TX.

Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home, followed by a joint funeral service with her son Ruben Juarez who passed away last year at 2:00 PM with Dr. James Jones officiating. They will be interment together at the Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, NM.

Connie was a loving and caring person. She was known for her delicious recipes, and she always made sure people were fed and happy when they came to visit. Especially for her Thanksgiving dinners. Connie also enjoyed music, dancing, crocheting, and family gatherings. The love she had for her family will live on in their hearts, and will never be forgotten. 

Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Fidela Jaquez; husband, Ruben Juarez, Sr.; three children: Louie Juarez, Nancy Juarez, and Ruben Juarez, Jr.

Connie is survived by her daughter-in-law, Cecilia Ruiz of Carlsbad, NM; four grandchildren: Isaac Juarez, Kristopher Juarez, Joey Juarez, and Adrian Juarez; two great grandchildren: Kalany Lynn Juarez and Addyson Juarez; four step-children: Jessie Alvarado, Mark Alvarado, Martin Alvarado, and Ruby Alvarado; and numerous extended family members.
