Colleen W. Tolbert

Obituary Colleen W. Tolbert, 91, went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2020. Colleen has been in the community since 1942. She was employed as a pecan processor at a pecan processing company on Church Street. She liked to go to garage sales, play slot machines and most of all going fishing with her husband, Shelby. Colleen is survived by her sons: Jerald Kennedy and wife, Cindy of Huntsville, Texas, Bruce Kennedy and wife, Beverly of Flower Mound, Texas, Donald Kennedy and wife, Glenda of Ft. Worth, Texas, Carl Kennedy of Carlsbad, NM; daughters: Sandra Holbert and husband, Allen of Carlsbad, NM, Wanda Messenger Bale and husband, Phillip of Carlsbad, NM. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents: Cassius and May Lawrence and husband, Shelby Tolbert. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
