Obituary Clara J. C.J. White, 52, of Alvarado Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Artesia General Hospital. Visitation will be 4:00 PM 6:00 PM, Friday, October 26, 2018 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Artesia Church of God, Artesia, NM, with Pastor Emory Mann officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Clara J. C.J. White was born June 12, 1966 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She married Luke White May 5, 1984 here in Carlsbad. C.J. loved fishing and taking care of her beloved animals. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean C. Anderson and step-father, John F. Anderson. Survivors are her husband, Luke White; daughters: Crimson Fundling and Deseria Estes; son, Dustin White; 8 grandchildren; father, George P. McGonagill; brother, Terrance McGonagill; sister, Ella Mae Stufft; adopted sister, Pamlla Mann and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
