Chuck Hampton

Chuck Hampton, 60, of Carlsbad, passed away July 20, 2023 at Carlsbad Medical Center.  Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.

Chuck was born October 5, 1962 in Bakersfield, California to Charles and Allievirginia (Landrum) Hampton. He married Deanna McClain November 1, 1981 in Pearsall, Texas. They moved to Carlsbad in 1982.  Chuck worked for Brewer Oil Co. for many years before retiring.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing and playing the guitar.  Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth Landrum.

Survivors are his wife, Deanna Hampton; daughter, MaryBeth Hampton; stepson, David McClain; grandchildren: Steven Garcia, Shawn Garcia, Phoenix Centenera and Lymric Wagner; sisters: Beth Caddell and Barbara Garcia; brother, Robert Hampton and several nieces and nephews.
