Christopher Micheal Gutierrez, 31, of S. Walnut Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away July 12, 2012 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Sunday, July 15, 2012 at San Jose Catholic Church, 1002 DeBaca Street. A Vigil is scheduled for Sunday, July 15, 2012, 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday, July 16, 2012, 2:00 PM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Valentine Jankowski, OFM, Conv. officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Christopher Michael Gutierrez was born July 15, 1980 in Carlsbad, NM to Abel Gonzalez and Debbie Gutierrez. Christopher always enjoyed spending time with his family and he will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Abel Gonzalez; mother, Debbie Ann Gutierrez and his grandfathers. He is survived by two grandmothers: Sally Gutierrez and Juanita Gonzalez both of Carlsbad, NM; siblings: Abel Gonzalez, Yvette Yrigollen, Angel Ramirez, Joseph Ramirez, Nichol Carrasco all of Carlsbad, NM; aunt, Criselda Sosa and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
