Christina S. Ochoa

Christina S. Ochoa, 58, of West Bonbright Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at her home. There will be no visitation. A Funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, December 13, 2012, 3:00 PM, at Oasis Christian Fellowship with Pastor Gabriel Rubio officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 15, 2012 in Mountain View Cemetery, Deming, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Christina S. Ochoa was born on March 14, 1954, in Deming, New Mexico to Alfredo and Robellia (Salas) Sanchez. She was a member of Oasis Christian Fellowship. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Christina served the Lord until her final days. She exemplified the virtues of Proverbs 31:10-23. Christina was preceded in death by her father; and brother, Richard Sanchez. Survivors are her husband, Carlos Ochoa, Jr. of Carlsbad, NM; children: Robellia Ruiz and husband, Steve of Albuquerque, NM, Carlos Ochoa, III and wife, Christina of Albuquerque, NM, Angelica Anderson and husband, Jason of Dallas, TX, Petrina Garcia an husband, Isaac of Abilene, TX, Elizabeth Rubio and husband, Gabriel of Carlsbad, NM, Josiah Ochoa and wife, Desiree of Carlsbad, NM, Jesse Ochoa and wife, Amy of Albuquerque, NM; mother, Robellia Salas Sanchez of Deming, NM; 12 grandchildren: Erin, Sarah, Stephanie and Mateo Ruiz; Katia, Carlos IV and Anahi Ochoa; Isaiah Garcia, Arabella and Juliana Rubio; Elsea Jane and Jesse II Ochoa; brother, Alfredo Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM; sisters: Priscilla Sweeten of California and Lillian Ramirez of Deming, NM. Pallbearers will be Carlos Ochoa, III, Josiah Ochoa, Jesse Ochoa, Steve Ruiz, Isaac Garcia and Jason Anderson. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
