Chris J. Sullivan

Chris J. Sullivan, 45, of Elgin Rd., Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at his home. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 2, 2016, 11:00 AM at the Sullivan home, 611 Elgin Road with Kathy Joslin officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Chris J. Sullivan was born March 4, 1971 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Daniel David Sullivan and Ollie Lynn Graves. He graduated from CHS in 1989. Chris worked as a diesel mechanic with the railroad, potash mines, and Visionary Solutions. He married Donna Jewell May 17, 2015. Chris was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and Nascar fan. His greatest achievement was being a father to Cody and he loved his family. He is preceded in death by his mother Ollie Graves, brother Cody Charles Sullivan, and aunt Teddi Sullivan. Chris is survived by his wife, Donna K. Sullivan of Carlsbad, NM; son: Cody F. Sullivan of Carlsbad, NM; father: Daniel Sullivan, Sr. of New Jersey; brothers: Daniel Sullivan, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Douglas Sullivan of Dallas, TX., Sean Sullivan of Carlsbad, NM; sister: Mary Jane Hand of Hobbs, NM., and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
