Obituary Chris Garcia, 39, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Espanola, New Mexico. Visitation will be 4:00 PM 6:00 PM, Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 19, 2018, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brigido Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Chris Garcia was born August 11, 1978 in Taos, New Mexico. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved fishing. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Steve E. Sanchez. Survivors are his mother, Narda Gallegos of Carlsbad, NM; brothers: Steven Garcia, Randy Sanchez, Eric Garcia, Philip Garcia; sister, Misty Sanchez; wife, Victoria Garcia; children: Mykle Dorado, Chris Garcia, Jr., Aaliyah Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Jonathan Lopez and numerous nieces nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
