Cheryl M. Ratliff

Cheryl M. Ratliff, 64, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in El Paso, TX. Cheryl was born on March 4, 1958, in Carlsbad, NM to Carl and Frances Ratliff. 

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. 

Growing up, Cheryl’s love for the outdoors started with playing softball and riding dirt bikes. She always loved going fishing and camping, and taking the time to go rock hunting. Most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, and getting to make lasting memories with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten. 

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Carl Ratliff; mother, Frances (Basque) Ratliff; and son, Clint Ingram.

Cheryl is survived by her three daughters: Jamie Newberry and husband, Jerritt of Arkansas; Kenna Peyton and husband, Jory of Carlsbad, NM; and Randi Thompson and husband, Garrett of Marble Falls, TX; nine grandchildren: Sean, Carley, Lily, Courtney, Garrett, Kaydynce, Cheyenne, Clayton, and Nikkia; one great granddaughter, Raelynn; three siblings: Jim Ratliff and wife, Liz of Rio Rancho, NM; Ginger Vaughn of Rio Rancho, NM; and Michael Ratliff of Albuquerque, NM; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
