Chellsey Michelle Riley, 17, of South Thomason Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away March 13, 2010 in Oklahoma. Visitation will be 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 19, 2010, 10:00 AM, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Land and Nathan Spencer officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Chellsey Michelle Riley was born November 21, 1992 in Carlsbad, NM. She enjoyed playing softball and spending time with her friends. Chellsey loved the time she spent in Oklahoma and was a member of First Baptist Church in Burbank, OK. "I Love Myself to much to let anyone hurt me again." She was preceded in death by great-grandfather, J. D. League and grandparents Sharron and Rodney Goff. Survivors include mother, Sherry Goff and husband, Chris of Carlsbad, NM, father, David Riley and wife, Clarissa of Carlsbad, NM; 4 siblings: Samantha Goff, Kelsey Garcia, Cody Goff and Taylin Riley all of Carlsbad, NM; grandparents, Glenda and Terry Willard of Burbank, OK; grandmother, Debra League of Carlsbad, NM; grandfather: Danny Huber of Carlsbad, NM; great-grandparents, Tommie and Ernestine Bryan of Carlsbad, NM; great-grandmother, Connie League of Carlsbad, NM; great-grandmother, Cynthia Huber of Carlsbad, NM; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
