Charlie D. Hurd

Charlie D. Hurd, 72, of S. Maple Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away March 25, 2025 at Goodlife Assisted Living. 

Visitation will be 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Monday, April 7, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home.

Charlie was born May 29, 1952 in Clarksville, Texas to Dimple Williams. He moved to Carlsbad with his family in 1964. Charlie served his country in the US Navy where he was honorably discharged. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Chandell Buris and Jamie Warrior.

Survivors are his brother, Ralph Buris; sisters: Linda Buris, Brenda Buris, Glenda Buris, Doris Jean Buris, and numerous nieces and nephews.
