Obituary
Carrie Beth Brininstool was born July 30, 1960 to her parents, Patricia Hollis Zmuda and Don Brininstool in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Beth enjoyed living most of her life in Carlsbad and graduated from Carlsbad High School. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, 112 N. Alameda St., Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Garry Schwalk officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Although Beth lived most of her life in Carlsbad, she also resided in the Dallas, Texas area for several years working for a funeral home as well as being employed by an insurance company.
The essence of Beths heart and soul was one of incredible kindness, love and generosity. She held dear many special friends, family and her caring and generous spirit was evident in all her relationships. She and her sisters, Nora and Michele, were close, enjoying a special bond throughout her life. Beth and her mam maw, Ruth Hollis, had an extremely close relationship sharing hours of laughter and tears.
Beth was preceded in death by her father, Don Brininstool; her paternal grandparents, Inas and Bud Brininstool; her maternal grandparents, Ruth and Gerald Hollis, and recently, her uncle, John Hollis.
Left to mourn her loss are her daughter, Kalene OBrien of Midland, TX; mother, Patricia Hollis Zmuda (Joe); sisters: Nora Smith (Cam), Michele Klotzback (Steve), all of Albuquerque, NM; nephews and nieces: Don, Jenny, Patricia and Sara; maternal uncle, Frank Hollis (Nancy) of Winnsboro, TX; aunts: Linda Kay Lunsford (Danny) of Georgetown, TX, Marsha Gay West (Rocky) of Carlsbad, NM, Sherry Ann Lynch (Bill) of Richland, WA and many cousins who loved her. Surviving on her paternal side are aunts: Joy Kline (Tommy) of Carlsbad, NM, Kaye Andrews (Ronnie) of San Angelo, TX, LaVita Brooks Brininstool of Wiley, TX and many loving cousins. Beth will be dearly missed by her many friends and family. Special thanks to David, Teresa, Little David, Linda and Tammy.
Interment will be held by the family at a later date in the Carlsbad Cemetery.
