Caroline Bradshaw

Caroline Bradshaw, 46, of Crabb Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 in Keller, Texas. Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2014, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herman Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Caroline Bradshaw was born on November 1, 1967, in Carlsbad, NM to Ray and Goldie (Aschbacher) Bradshaw. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1985 and received her bachelor's degree from ENMU in mathematics. Caroline later received a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from NMSU-Las Cruces in 1999. She primarily taught math at Carlsbad High School for over 14 years before taking early medical retirement. Caroline also taught computer based classes at NMSU-Carlsbad for several years and worked as a part-time secretary at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy where she was involved in music and children's ministry. Caroline enjoyed coaching cheerleading, reading, watching TV, shopping for shoes and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Roscoe and Lela Bradshaw; maternal grandparents, Joe and Mayme Aschbacher; brother-in-law, Jim Estrada; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Survivors are her parents, Ray and Goldie Bradshaw of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Pearlene Estrada of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Eddie Bradshaw and wife, Betsy of Keller, Texas; nieces and nephews: Brittany Bradshaw, Courtney Bradshaw, Dalton Bradshaw, all of Keller, Texas, Amanda Laird of Hobbs, NM and Jacob Laird of Big Spring, Texas; close friend, Dina Runnels of Carlsbad, NM; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Pallbearers will be Jacob Laird, Allan Kostedt, Dalton Bradshaw, Brian "Andrew" Runnels, Wayland Bradshaw and J.W. Bradshaw. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
