Carlos C. Sing

Carlos C. Sing, 76, of Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at his home. Carlos was born on April 26, 1945, in Casas Grandes, Mexico to Miguel and Carmen Sing.

Visitation is scheduled from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM Thursday, August 5, 2021, a Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel, following the vigil will start at 6:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled at 2:00 PM Friday, August 6, 2021, at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Carlos Ramirez officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

After high school, Carlos started working at the National Potash Mines. He then moved to Wyoming in 1975 and started working as a mechanic until he retired from Tata Chemicals in 2008. Carlos loved the outdoors, and enjoyed going hunting and riding horses. He would spend his free time at home restoring old cars and working on countless projects in his shop. Carlos will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Carlos was preceded in death by his father, Miguel Sing; and mother, Carmen (Calderon) Sing.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Gloria Sing of Carlsbad, NM; seven children: Raymond Q. Hernandez of Carlsbad, NM, Carlos Sing, Jr. of Colorado, Macy Sing Vega and husband, Juan of Longmont, CO, Jamie Sing and wife, Angie of Rock Springs, WY, Dolores Sing East and husband, John of Colorado Springs, CO, Michael Hernandez and wife, Kimberly of Green River, WY, Will Sing and wife, Trisa of Mountain View, WY; twenty-five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; five brothers: Victor Sing of Carlsbad, NM, Mike Sing and wife, Criselda of Carlsbad, NM, Eddy Sing and wife, Lupe of Carlsbad, NM, Freddy Sing and wife, Geraldine of Lyman, WY, and Roy Sing of Carlsbad, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews.
