Caleb Lee Stockwell, 20, of Palo Alto Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 12, 2011, 10:00 AM, at Landmark Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis W. McKinley officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Caleb Lee Stockwell was born October 22, 1990, in Carlsbad, NM. He always enjoyed being with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Brent Eastman and great-grandmothers: Lula Burnett and Gladys Nesbit. Survivors are his mother, Rhonda Bryant and husband, David of Carlsbad, NM; father, Rob Stockwell and wife, Carolyn of Alpine, Texas; two brothers, Johnnie Bryant of Carlsbad, NM, Chance Stockwell of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Jamie Bryant of Carlsbad, NM; step-sister Chassity Garza and husband, Frank of Brownfield, TX; grandmother, Linda Eastman of Carlsbad, NM; grandfather, Ben Burnett and wife, Elaine of Carlsbad, NM; grandmother, Donna Bryant of Carlsbad, NM; grandparents: Bob and Hedi Stockwell of Carlsbad, NM; great-grandparents, Wanda and Harold Nesbit of Brady, TX and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers are Jesse Harvey, Austin McCoy, Isaac Ramirez, Casey Richards, Mike Williams and Gunner Bartlett.
