Brent J. Padilla, 26, of West Edward Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Brent J. Padilla was born January 31, 1989 in Midland, Texas to Troy and Jalan (Lawler) Padilla. He attended Carlsbad Municipal Schools. Brent worked at Constructor's, Inc. during the past four years as a heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beatrice Padilla; grandfather, Lynn Warren; uncle, Jeff Lawler and cousin, Brandon Lawler. He is survived by his parents, Troy and Jalan Padilla of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Kara Padilla of Carlsbad, NM; paternal grandfather, Fred Padilla and wife, Sondra of Carlsbad, NM; maternal grandmother, Janice Warren of Carlsbad, NM; great-grandmother, Verna Hensley of Carlsbad, NM; uncle and aunt, Kenny and Liz Padilla and aunt, Irma Lawler.
