Brenda Carroll Passmore

Brenda Carroll Passmore, 62, of Sweetwater, TX, formerly of Carlsbad, NM, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, NM with Rev. Mike Cleghorn officiating. Interment will follow directed by McCoy Funeral Home.

Brenda was born to Jay and Edith (Gibson) Mobley February 27, 1961 in Carlsbad, NM. She was a member of the Church of God and very much a Prayer Warrior. Brenda loved shopping and decorating. She most of all loved being a wife, homemaker,mother, and grandmother. She married Jackie Passmore March 17, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Jackie Passmore of Sweetwater, TX, four daughters, Ticia McIllwain of Los Angeles, CA, Toscha Dean and husband Clint of Hope, NM, Courtney Weyerman and husband Trusten, of Carlsbad, NM, Skyler Griffith and husband Tanner of Artesia, NM, two sons, Josh McIllwain of Fort Worth, TX and Colten McIllwain of Mars, PA, a brother, Larry Mobley and wife Jeanie of Branson, MO, a step-daughter, Mariah Baker and husband Justin of Fort Worth, TX, Also surviving are twelve grandchildren.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Jay and Edith Mobley, a brother, Dean Mobley, and a sister, Glenda Posey.
