Bobby R. "Bubba" Calk, Jr., 55, of South Seventh Street, Loving, New Mexico, passed away March 12, 2012 at his home.
A Graveside Service is scheduled for Friday, March 16, 2012, 2:00 PM, at Loving Cemetery with Pastor Dick Means officiating.
Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, New Mexico.
Carlsbad Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors.

Bobby R. "Bubba" Calk, Jr. was born on July 10, 1956, in Hobbs, NM to Bobby Ray and Fay Ona (Russell) Calk. He moved to Loving with his family in 1962. Bubba graduated from CHS in 1974. He served our country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Bubba worked in the potash mines over 30 years. He was devoted to his grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to be with them. Bubba enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and making jewelry. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kaye "Kaye Kaye" Price.
Survivors are his daughters: Tara Fierro and husband, Mike of Carlsbad, NM and Bobbie Calk of Loving, NM; parents: Bob and Fay Ona Calk of Loving, NM; grandchildren: Cody Briones, Tayler Briones and Kaiden Carrasco; sister: LaVaughn Holcomb and husband, Howard of Carlsbad, NM; brother-in-law: Albert Price of Loving, NM; and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shane McDonald, Gary Roper, Mark Hensley, Cody Briones, Vance McDonald, Kevin Price, A.J. Price, Albert Price, Brandon Wyatt, Kenny Darling, Steve Dycus and Mike Fierro.
