Bobbie Lu (Miller) Crabb, 86, of Plum Lane, went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loved ones on October 5, 2021.
Bobbie was born in Big Spring, Texas on October 4, 1935 to Clifton and Ruby Miller. At a young age, Bobbie moved with her family to Carlsbad. She attended Carlsbad schools. She worked as a carhop at The Arrowhead where she met the love of her life, Walter “Pete” Crabb. They married January, 1955. Upon Pete’s discharge from the U.S. Navy, they settled in Carlsbad where they welcomed the first three of their five daughters. They moved several times and in 1964 welcomed their 4th daughter in Littlefield, Texas. In 1968, the family moved to Denver where they welcomed their 5th daughter. They remained in Denver until 1987. Bobbie then joined Pete as his work took them across the country. This was a precious time for the two of them to enjoy life together.
Bobbie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a woman of great faith and her love for Jesus was exemplified in all she did throughout her life. She was an amazing cook and was well known for many of her famous recipes. She was a wonderful hostess and could put together a meal on short notice when company was coming. Bobbie gave much of her time to caring for others at church, volunteering at school, and in the community. She was an amazing ”Mimi” to all of her grandchildren. She had a unique and special relationship with each one. Bobbie will be greatly missed by all who love her.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Willine Joe; brother Don Miller; brother Keith Miller; and grandson Ethan Rogers.
She is survived by her husband Pete Crabb of the family home; daughter Sandra Keene and husband Phil of Littleton, CO.; daughter Susan Sandoval of Littleton, CO.; daughter Freda Dale of Aurora, CO.; daughter Joyce Sifuentes and husband Mario of El Paso, TX.; and daughter Paula Crabb-Ramirez and husband Lupe of Carlsbad, NM; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
