Bob Cullum, 60, of North Eleventh Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Covenant Medical Center, Lubbock, Texas.
There will be no visitation; cremation has taken place.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2014, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with B.P.O. Elks Lodge # 1558 Ritual Team officiating.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Bob Cullum was born May 12, 1954, in Frankfort, Germany to George and Amber (Best) Cullum, Sr., while his father was stationed in the US Air Force. He graduated from Booneville High School in Washington Terrace, Utah. Bob served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. He went to work for WIPP in 1984. Bob attended college and ultimately received a Master's degree in Business Administration while continuing to work. He was planning to retire in January which would have been 30 years with WIPP. Bob enjoyed volunteering in several organizations and was especially proud of his work with Habitat for Humanities. His passion was riding his Harley Davidson but above all he loved his family. Bob was a member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge 1558 and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his daughter, Megan Hunt and husband, Adam of Carlsbad, NM; grandson, Jasen Hunt; brothers: Steve Cullum of Ogden, Utah, Jim Cullum of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
