Billie Mae Williams, 89, of Tidwell Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012 at Landsun Homes.
There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
Billie Mae Williams was born on May 8, 1922, in Ft. Worth, Texas to Ivan and Isabelle (Atkinson) McAllister. She moved to Carlsbad in 1949. Billie married Gerald Williams in 1951. She drove a school bus for several years and later drove a gravel truck for Rose Gravel. Billie also worked for Brewer Oil Company and retired in 1989. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Billie was preceded in death by her parents; sister; brother; two sons: Finn and Cody, and one grandson, Beau.
Survivors are her sons: Hubert "Hoot" Wright and wife, Pat of Navasota, Texas, Zane Williams of Carlsbad, NM, Dane Williams of Carlsbad, NM; daughter: Kori Sutton and husband, Charles of Grandview, Texas; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
