Bill Perkins, 48, of Vest Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Friday, January 20, 2012 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Vigil is scheduled for Friday, January 20, 2012, 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2012, 2:00 PM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Valentine Jankowski, OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors are his wife, Patrina Perkins of Carlsbad, NM; step-son, Benjamin Gotcher of Carlsbad, NM; step-daughter, Kathryn Gotcher of Roswell, NM; mother, Shirley Perkins of Carlsbad, NM; father, John Perkins of Las Cruces, NM; siblings: Kathryn Sagebiel of Carlsbad, NM, John Perkins of Carlsbad, NM, Joe Perkins of Florida, Stephanie Davidson of Carlsbad, NM and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be George Eyler, Ben Gotcher, David Davidson, Tommy Johnson, Damon Crittendon and David Pineda. Honorary pallbearers are Loren Hayhurst, Joey Blair, Scott Nyrkannen, David Savoie, Jeremy Abernathy, Jesse Scappaticci and Mike Burton.
