Beverly Jane Hargrove

Beverly Jane Hargrove, 62, former resident, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, due to a lengthy illness. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Carlsbad Cemetery with Caleb Lester officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Beverly Jane Hargrove was born January 7, 1953 to Wallace and Ruby (Rakes) Lester in Charleston, West Virginia. Beverly's family moved to Carlsbad, NM in 1964 where she remained and always called it home. She was married to her husband of 45 years, Billie Hargrove, on January 24, 1970. They had two children together, Quinton and Kelly. Beverly brought to this world a contagious laugh, radiant smile and a kind word for everyone. She loved to sing, dance and make everyone around her want do to the same. She was a beautiful person on the inside and outside. Beverly never met a stranger. She was the person who never turned away a friend, or even a friend's friend. Her personality and laughter lit up every room and let her shine through any crowd. The world lost one of it's kindest, most loving people when it lost Beverly. She will be forever loved and missed. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Ruby Lester. Survivors are her husband, Bill Hargrove; son, Quinton Hargrove of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Kelly Cantrell and husband, Justin of Texas; siblings: Bonnie Geer and husband, John of Florida, Wally Lester and wife, Denise of Carlsbad, NM, Barbara Lassiter of husband, Rudy Santisteven of Tennessee, Crystal King and husband, Roy of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Hunter Cantrell of Texas, Quinton Hargrove, Jr. of Florida, Eden Walton of Nevada and numerous nieces, nephews and friends that loved her.
