Obituary Bettye J. Beeman, 89, of 1405West Ural Dr., Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. A private graveside service will be held at Carlsbad Cemetery with Pastor ManishShirlayofficiating. The service will be live-streamed and canbe viewed by clicking hereat 2:00 PM MST, Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Betty J. Beeman was born March 3, 1931 in Ft. Stockton, Texas toLoynand Gladys Bailey. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1949. Bettye married Francis F. Beeman January 15,1950 in Carlsbad. She worked with Francis in their accounting firm66years.Bettye was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader of mystery novels and enjoyed tending to her manyflowers and plants.Bettye was precededin death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Francis F. Beeman; her daughter, Janet Beeman Janzen and her husband, Jimmie; her son, Rick Beeman and companion Jenny Wright; her grandchildren Jeffery Healey and Jeremy Healey and hiswife,Richell, and seven great-grandchildren;her brother John Bailey and his wife Barbara,two nephews and a niece.; her sister, Sandra Bailey and companion ReneeMunsel.
