Bessie Jackson

Bessie R. Jackson, 69, of Standpipe Road, Carlsbad, NM passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at her home after a short battle with cancer for the second time. Bessie R. Jackson is survived by her sons: David F. Jackson and spouse, Christina of New Mexico, Andrew L. Jackson and spouse, Lori of Northern Colorado, Nathan W. Jackson and spouse, Angie of Montana, and her daughters: Rebecca Snow and spouse, William of Carlsbad, NM and Raychel Hand and spouse, Marty of Albuquerque, NM, as well as 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Bess, as she was known to her friends and family, was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Friday, August 16, 2013 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for 9:30 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, W. Earl Jackson who proceeded her in death as well as her first born son, W.
