Obituary Bernard Beezy Martinez, 33, of Mimosa Street, Carlsbad, NM passed away April 20, 2019. Visitation will be 3:00 PM 6:00 PM, Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, April 29, 2019 at Calvary Assembly of God with Associate Pastor Pam Patrick officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Bernard Beezy Martinez was born July 3, 1985 in Roswell, NM. He enjoyed rapping and was known as Rok-Star on stage. Beezy also loved cooking and camping out with his nieces and nephews in the front yard. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mary Lou Arredondo and Henrietta Martinez; brothers: Anthony Arredondo and Ernesto Montoya. Survivors are his children: Christopher Martinez, Jeremiah Martinez, Loriah Herrera and Josh Herrera; mother, Betty Arredondo Runnels; maternal grandfather, Frank Arredondo, Sr.; paternal grandfather, Lloyd Martinez; siblings: Angela Justice, Veronica Evangelista, Jackie Justice, Ida Mendoza and husband, Alex, Justin Salcido and wife, Tina, Sean Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; father, Bernard Martinez Pallbearers will be Noel Lozano, Tony Evangelista, Bubba Evangelista, Larry Justice, Michelle Montoya and Alexis Rodriguez.
