Baby Lianna Cruz Ortega

Baby Lianna Cruz Ortega, of Lamont Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away August 5, 2010 at Covenant Women's and Children's Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. There will be no public visitation. Mass of the Angels is scheduled for Monday, August 9, 2010, 10:00 AM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Cyprian Uline, OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Baby Lianna Cruz Ortega was born July 15, 2010 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Jeff Ortega and Cynthia Navarrete. Survivors include her parents, Jeff Ortega and Cynthia Navarrete of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Julian Gutierrez of Las Cruces, NM; grandparents, Irma and Richard Mickens of Carlsbad, NM, Pete and Enedina Navarrete of Carlsbad, NM; great-grandmother: Faye Martinez of Pecos, TX; great-grandfather: Jose Ortega of Pecos, TX and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
