Ashley Brooke Ragland, 41, of Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on her birthday, August 2, 2024, surrounded by family and loved ones. Ashley served in the United States Army as a paralegal with the JAG Corps. Following her service, she turned her focus to having children and raising her family. Once the children where older Ashley joined the workforce again and worked at Presbyterian Health Insurance. She enjoyed dirt road therapy in her Jeep, vacationing to the Ocean, decorating for Christmas, all of which she enjoyed doing with her family. 

Her greatest passion was her devotion to her family and friends. Ashley is survived by her husband Jason of 22 years, her children Fancy, Kade, Truly, Faith and Shady, her dad Wesley Kennedy (wife Donna), her mom Marla Waldrop (husband Dave) and her sister Kindal Sargent. Ashley will be dearly missed and always remembered.

We request all of Ashley’s friends and loved one’s to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at the Sheriff’s Posse, located at 1601 E Green St, Carlsbad, NM 88220 on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 6:00 pm. We would like to celebrate Ashley’s life by wearing bright colors. It would mean a lot if you could join in this tribute and wear something vibrant to honor her memory.
