Obituary Arlie Caesar Hennessee, 96, of West Pierce Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Lakeview Christian Home. Memorial service is scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2019, 10:00 AM, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Howell Scott officiating. Cremation will take place. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Arlie Hennessee was born in Eastland, Texas in 1932, where he grew up and graduated high school. He enlisted in the Army Air Force and served all his time in Texas. He was a foreman in Abilene when he met and married his wife, Jean. Arlie received his B.S. degree from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene and his M.A. degree from UTEP in El Paso. He attended several other colleges. Arlie taught school in Carlsbad for 29 years, retiring in 1988. He was admitted to Lakeview Christian Home November 14th and died there November 27, 2019.
