Aria Northcutt

Aria Northcutt, 89, of W. Pierce Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Lakeveiw Christian Home. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 14, 2016, 2:00 PM, at Carlsbad Cemetery with Terry Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Aria Northcutt was born November 11, 1926 in southeastern Oklahoma to Frank Monroe and Cecil (Curnutt) Treat. She moved to Carlsbad in 1957 and worked at St. Francis Hospital for 14 years. Aria had three dogs which she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.H. Northcutt and two granddaughters: Carrie Lee and Ainsley. Survivors are her son, Bobby J. Northcutt and wife, Brenda of Carlsbad, NM; grandsons: Cody Northcutt, Clayton Bradley, Garrett Tyler, Justin Fehrenback, Bud Shaw; granddaughters: Wendy Pirmantgen and Vicky Riggs Tieman; daughters: Nyoka Fehrenback and husband, Bob of Melbourne, FL, Norma Lee Shaw and husband, Terry of New Bloomfield, MO; sister, Lilly Pearl Ashley of Oklahoma City, OK; 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
