Antonio "Tony" C. Trujillo

Antonio C. "Tony" Trujillo, 47, of Alvarado Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at his home. Visitation will be 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Vigil is scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2015, 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, April 10, 2015, 10:00 AM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Martin Cordero officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Antonio C. "Tony" Trujillo was born December 20, 1967 in Carlsbad, NM to Paul Hernandez and Mary C. (Castillo) Trujillo. He worked for Madron Services for over 10 years. Tony enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, jamming out to the oldies and working on his car. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Martin Trujillo; grandparents: Theodora and Erwina Castillo and Solomon and Santos Trujillo. Survivors are his wife, Rosie Trujillo of Carlsbad, NM; children: Amanda Melendez Knowlton, Antonio C. Trujillo, Jr., Ashley Trujillo; parents: Paul and Mary Trujillo of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Mia Valenzuela, Timothy Valenzuela, Ysabella Cumpian; brothers: Florencio Ruiz, Pedro Trujillo, Juan Trujillo; sisters: Elizabeth "Betty" Armendariz, Cecilia Ruiz, Santos Gonzalez and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Florencio Ruiz, Pete Trujillo, Miguel Garcia, Pete Trujillo, Jr., Johnny Trujillo, Sammy Castillo, Daniel Madrid and David Lujan.
