Annemarie Flynn

Annemarie Flynn, 78, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Lakeview Christian Home. There will be no pubic visitation. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 31, 2011, 10:00 AM, at Carlsbad Cemetery with Chaplain Terry McKean officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Annemarie Flynn was born May 31, 1933 in Bensheim, Germany to Fredrich and Elizabeth (Frey) Schweitzer. She married Jack Flynn on May 2, 1958 in Darmstadt, Germany. They moved to Carlsbad in 1975. Annemarie always cherished the relationships with her German friends. She often times spent hours laughing and visiting with them. Annemarie also loved traveling to Germany to visit her family every chance she could, but spending time with her grandchildren was her priority. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Flynn; brothers: William Schweitzer and Heinz Schweitzer. She is survived by her two daughters: Jutta Manganero and husband, Art Dennis of Carlsbad, NM, Claudia Ann Galloway and husband, Clyde of Carlsbad, NM; five grandchildren: Patrick Manganero, Aaron Manganero, Anthony Manganero, Melanie Burris and Candace Galloway.
