Obituary Ann Nance, 87, of W. Pierce Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away February 3, 2020 at Lakeview Christian Home. Visitation will be 10:00 AM 11:30 AM, Friday, February 7, 2020 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Friday, February 7, 2020 at Carlsbad Cemetery with Terry McKean officiating. Ann was born October 3, 1932 in Orange County, California to Calvin and Viola (Martin) Crawford. She married RA Nance August 5, 1948 and then moved to Carlsbad later that year. Ann loved artwork as she was a talented artist and she also enjoyed genealogy. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, RA Nance. Survivors are her sons: Bobby Ray Nance and wife, Carolyn of Carlsbad, NM, Steve W. Nance; grandchildren: Chad Nance and wife, Tina, Jamie Nance-Cowger and Jessie Cherie Dinsmore; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Crawford and wife, Michelle.
