They started their family having four wonderful children, who blessed them over the years with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ann was a good artist, and when her girls were young, she would make paper dolls and outfits for them. Ann was a fantastic seamstress and made clothes, including prom and bridal dresses, for her children. She was a member of the city bowling league, Mesa Senior Center, and the Church Street Church of the Nazarene. For many years, she was on the church board and sang in the church choir. Ann enjoyed working in her flower garden and yard, reading books, and watching Disney movies with her grandchildren. She was a mother to everyone, and was known by most as Nana.
