Ann E. Trivitt

Ann E. Trivitt, 74, of N. 8th Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at her home. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at New Song Christian Fellowship with John A. Burke officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Ann E. Trivitt was born December 1, 1940 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Henry and Laura (Hill) Scudder. She married Ray Trivitt on December 1, 1977 in Carlsbad, NM. She loved to dance. Ann also enjoyed fishing and hunting. She was a member of New Song Christian Fellowship and for 22 years she served as a decorator for the church including retreats and parties. Ann loved God. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister and one step-child. Survivors are her husband of 37 years, Ray Trivitt of Carlsbad, NM; son, Cliff Shannon and wife, Cindy of Carlsbad, NM; daughters: Lynda Butler and husband, Casey of Houston, TX, Amy Jaure of San Angelo, TX; 5 step-grandchildren; grandchildren: Kyle and Joshua Shannon, Cheslee and Jimmy Williams, Ashley, Brianna and Chelsey Jaure and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
