Angela Jeanette Jackson

Angela J. Jackson, 68, passed away peacefully from her earthly struggle to her eternal life with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ with her children by her side in Lubbock, Texas on May 15, 2023.

Angela J. Jackson was born in Chicago, Illinois, February 13, 1955 to Bill and Gracie Swain. However, she grew up in Georgetown, Arkansas with her parents and siblings. She loved telling stories about her childhood, and the southern life, with friends and family as a favorite pastime. Angela was an excellent decorator. She always made the holidays magical, and memorable, for everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, yardwork and gardening. Angela was a strong and fierce woman who made no qualms about giving you a piece of her mind; true to her nature, she was strong until the very end.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Nathan Jackson. Angela lost her husband in 2019 and spoke of reuniting with him on several occasions. Mama, we hope you are with him now, and we hope to see you both together again one day.

Angela is survived by her children: Samantha Macarthur, Miranda Munday, Kristin Stephenson, and Logan Jackson; brothers: Mitchell Swain, Ronald Swain, Sidney Swain and her loving sister and best friend, Clarissa White. She also has 8 grandchildren, Kaylie Gilcrease, Mikaila Lynn, Ronnie Munday, Alex Munday, Mariska Munday, Shawn Munday, Connor Skinner, Zander Guarriello, and in laws (whom she loved very much), David Jackson, Andrew Jackson, Raychel Hand, and Rebecca Snow.

There will be no formal funeral services but rather a Celebration of Life to be scheduled in the near future.
