Obituary
Amy (Spencer) Castle 49, was a strong, faithful woman who passed away peacefully in her home on September 29, 2018, the 28th anniversary of her marriage to her best friend, lover, confidant, helpmate and life partner Phil Castle.
Formerly of Montrose, Michigan, Amy was reluctant resident of Carlsbad, New Mexico (Although her heart lived in Kalkaska, Michigan). However, Amy loved her job at Lakeview Christian Home in Carlsbad, New Mexico where she was able to share her love with staff and residents alike, and where she made a difference.
Amy was born to Devere (Bugs) and Connie Spencer on July 12, 1969 in Flint, Michigan and is survived by her husband Phil Castle, children Hope Castle and Spencer Castle, her parents Bugs and Connie Spencer, sister Tracie (Alan) Raymond, her beloved fur babies Samson, Delilah, and Fitz, and the entire Castle Clan that loved her dearly.
Amy met Phil her senior year of high school and married him on September 29, 1990. They began their married life in Billings, Montana before moving back to Montrose, Michigan to begin their family. Amy was a devoted mother whose children were her pride and joy. She loved and trusted God and his plan. Amy enjoyed cooking, stamping and gardening even though it was challenging in the southwest.
Her home was always open for anyone who needed love. Amy will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. All are welcome to celebrate Amys life at 5:00pm on October 7, 2018 at New Covenant Church in Clio, Michigan.
