Alvira P. Hernandez, 69, a former resident of Carlsbad passed Monday, April 21, 2025 in Portales, New Mexico.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM, Thursday, May 1, 2025 at San Jose Catholic Church, Carlsbad, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Carlos Ramirez officiating. Interment will take place at Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
